1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible

This 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible is finished in white over Firethorn Red leather and powered by a 4.1-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transaxle. Features include a white convertible soft top, chrome 15″ wire wheels, power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The car is finished in white with red pinstripes and features a power-folding white convertible soft top, a hood ornament, an automatic power antenna, quad headlights, cornering lights, and chrome bumpers and bodyside moldings. The rear bumper fillers were changed in 2008, and the convertible top was replaced in 2010. There is rust on the lower rear corner of the right door.  Chrome 15″ wire wheels were mounted with 215/70 Vogue Custom Built Radial VII tires in 2021. The car came equipped from the factory with a fully independent suspension and power steering. Braking is handled by discs at each corner.  The seating surfaces are trimmed in button-tufted Firethorn Red leather, while woodgrain trim accents the dashboard and door panels. Interior appointments include power-adjustable individual front seats, Twilight Sentinel automatic headlights, automatic climate control, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, and power windows and locks. The radio does not work.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting and telescoping column and frames a horizontal 85-mph speedometer, a gear-selection window, and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 75k miles. 

The 4.1-liter HT 4100 V8 features digital fuel injection for a factory rating of 135 horsepower. The water pump was replaced along with the gaskets for the intake manifold and valve covers in 2018, at which time the coolant was flushed. The fuel pump and filter were changed the following year, and the battery was replaced in preparation for the sale. Oil seepage is noted.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transaxle. There is corrosion on the undercarriage and a hole in the muffler.
